Kris Smith leaves baby for fashion show

Kris Smith left his newborn son at home to take part in a fashion show last night.

The former rugby player, who became a dad for the first time when girlfriend Dannii Minogue gave birth to son Ethan last month, walked down the catwalk as part of the spring/summer Myer launch.

Smith told The Daily Telegraph: "It's tough [leaving him] but the positive side is I got a bit more sleep than usual last night. I kept waking up thinking, 'Where is he? Where's Dan?'"

Models Jennifer Hawkins and Jess Hart also took part in the fashion parade, while Jerry Hall took a seat in the front row as guest of honour.
