Grease is still the UK’s favourite musical, according to a survey by the Wales Millennium Centre.
The show was a hit on stage before its tranformation into a blockbuster movie in 1978. Songs taken from it have also been chart topping hits.
Second place in the survey of 2,431 adults went to Richard O'Brien’s risqué comedy The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Andrew Lloyd-Weber made it onto the list with The Phantom of the Opera in third place and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (co-written with Tim Rice) at fifth.
