Sean Bean to divorce Georgina Sutcliffe

Sean Bean is to divorce his wife Georgina Sutcliffe after reportedly having marital problems for two years.

The Lord of the Rings actor's wife has submitted a petition stating that their marriage has ended due to "irreconcilable differences", says The Sun.

In March, Bean was reported denying that they would be separating after rumours emerged. He said: "Things are more settled. There will be no more divorce."

Bean and Sutcliffe's wedding had initially been called off 24 hours before it was due to take place in January 2008 because of "personal reasons", but was rescheduled a few weeks later.

This is the fourth time that the star will divorce.
