Jessica Simpson has claimed that it's normal for women to think about their weight.

The singer told The Daily 10 that she is "always" aware of the foods that she consumes on a daily basis because she's a naturally "curvy girl".

The 30-year-old said: "I think a woman always stresses out about their weight. It’s just, like, a woman thing - unless you’re the women we don’t like that are the supermodels that are just so naturally fantastic. But for me, I’m a curvy girl so I have to always be conscious of what I’m putting into my body, if I’m going to be working out."

When asked if she was considering becoming a judge on American Idol, she added: "I mean, I don't think so. I haven't gotten a phone call. I'm not a very judgemental person, so I could probably stick my foot in my mouth a couple times. I am a singer and I do know if it's going to actually happen for someone or not."

Simpson recently claimed that she is finished trying to look like the "perfect Barbie type".
