The Sun edito Rebekah Wade has been released without charge after her earlier arrest for an alleged assault on husband Ross Kemp. Wade, whose partner currently stars in EastEnders, will have no further action taken against her.

The arrest occurred at around 4am today, according to police. Reports indicate that Kemp had a "thick lip" but would not take any medical assistance. The couple have had no public spats since their marriage in Las Vegas in June 2002.
