After numerous delays, the Julie Taymor-helmed production is to begin preview performances on November 14 at New York's Foxwoods Theatre (formerly the Hilton Theatre), reports the Los Angeles Times.
The show was originally slated to open in February 2010, but budget issues and recasting delayed the launch.
The production will star Reeve Carney as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane Watson and Patrick Page as the Green Goblin.
The musical will feature new music by U2's Bono and The Edge.
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark officially opens on December 21.
