Terry 'annoyed by Perroncel interview'

Footballer John Terry is reportedly annoyed with Vanessa Perroncel for returning to the media limelight.

Perroncel was interviewed by GMTV earlier this week and denied the tabloid reports from early this year, which claimed that she cheated on her partner Wayne Bridge with Terry.

However, the ex-England captain is apparently frustrated that she is choosing to talk about the subject again and is concerned that she wants to launch a media career off the back of the scandal.

"John is still very down about the World Cup and really struggling to get his game back," a source told the Daily Star.

"This whole horrible situation is really not helping him or his wife Toni to get over the last six months. And it seems as though it is simply a plan to make money and win Wayne back."

Perroncel's spokesperson Max Clifford admitted that his client is in talks for a number of deals about her next career move.

"We have been approached by various companies who have asked Vanessa to do TV, modelling and launch her own swimwear range," he said.

"All I can say is that discussions are ongoing and she is now in a position to make some decisions and start work on her career."

Speaking about her latest TV interview, he added: "Vanessa decided to do an interview now because she has been taking legal proceedings over the issue and that is now complete. She was advised not to talk to anyone until all of that was over."
