Indie rockers The Strokes have decided to preview their new album with a secret tour, which will include an intimate gig in London.
The band plan to kick off the tour in Tokyo on November 14th before playing gigs in a number of locations, including New York, Sydney, Amsterdam, London, Madrid and Seattle.
NME.com says the tour will give fans an idea of what their new album First Impressions of Earth will sound like. Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr said: "We'll do eight new songs and leave, just like how it was with the first record."
The Strokes' actual tour will begin in February 2006, covering North America and the UK. Their album comes out in the UK on January 14th. Single Juicebox is due out on December 5th.
