Anastacia: 'I'm feeling maternal'

Anastacia has admitted to feeling maternal, but is uncertain as to whether she is ready to have children.

The 41-year-old singer, who recently revealed that she is open to the idea of adoption, explained that she gets a great amount of enjoyment from lavishing attention on other people's children, but is reluctant to start a brood of her own.

"I'm not sure if I want children," she confessed to Bang Showbiz. "I'm feeling maternal, like a 'Momastacia'.

"I love buying presents for my godchildren. In fact, they call me 'Anna Claus'. It's so much more fun buying for others."

The 'I'm Outta Love' hitmaker separated from husband of three years Wayne Newton in April.
