Vivica A. Fox 'forgives boyfriend's email'

Vivica A. Fox has reportedly forgiven her boyfriend for publicly announcing their split.

The actress, who has been dating a man named Slimm for the past eight months, has dismissed speculation that the pair have separated and insisted that they are just experiencing normal relationship problems.

Slimm had written to the press: "After eight months, it's time to go our separate ways. In life you can love and have chemistry with a person, but flaws can sometimes outweigh the relationship. I wish her the best and I know she feels the same. Thanks."

The following day, Slimm retracted the statement and admitted that he may have over-reacted by publicly announcing the end of their romance.

He wrote: "I want to clear the air about the rushed statement released yesterday about Vivica and I breaking up. Sometimes a person may act out of anger... Vivica is an important part of my life and I would never try to hurt her. Thanks for supporting us as we figure things out."

Fox then wrote her own letter to the New York Daily News, and revealed that she is taking their relationship in her stride, writing: "Slimm and I r (sic) fine! All relationships have their ups and their downs. I'm soo (sic) proud that Slimm was man enough to clear up the air. He is a very good man with a great heart!"
