Jude Law and Sienna Miller are taking steps to salvage their troubled relationship in the US.

The pair checked into a Los Angeles hotel suite on Wednesday, and turned down an invitation to attend a Bafta party honouring Tom Cruise and Elizabeth Taylor.

An insider at the Shutters Hotel at Santa Monica Beach told The Sun, "They've barely come out of their room. They've told staff they want to be left alone."

Sienna dumped Jude after he admitted to cheating on her with his children's nanny. Just as the couple were getting back on track, Sienna then allegedly had an affair with new Bond, Daniel Craig.
