Michael Jackson has paid out over three quarters of a million for an island in Bahrain, according to the Daily Mail.
The singer had left the US a number of months ago after his acquittal on child sex abuse charges, and is expected to remain in Bahrain permanently as a guest of the country's royal family. He has only left the country to make a number of short trips to the UK.
Jackson's home will be on the Amwaj Islands, three luxurious man-made islands that have taken half a decade to complete. The New York Post says Jackson has bought two separate villas, both with seaside views.
