Cole 'flirts with Saturdays' Frankie'

Ashley Cole is seeking a relationship with Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, it has been claimed.

According to Heat, the Chelsea left-back invited Sandford to his table at Chinawhite in Central London after contacting her while she was eating with friends at a West End fusion restaurant.

A source told the magazine: "In Asia de Cuba, Frankie was getting texts all night, so naturally, we looked down at her phone to see who was messaging her.

"There were loads of messages from 'Ashley', one of which said something like, 'When you come to the club, you should sit at my table with us'."

The pair reportedly met later at Chinawhite, where Cole was spending time with his former teammates Wayne Bridge and Shaun Wright-Phillips.

"Ashley and Frankie were chatting like they knew each other really well," the source added. "Everyone thought it was really weird - he was acting very familiar with her, and wasn't hiding it. It was so obvious what he was after.

"There's been nothing more than texts so far, but Ashley's definitely determined. We'll warn her to stay away, but she knows what he's like."

A friend of Cole reportedly said of Sandford: "She's definitely his type. He's single, so will be going all-out to get her no matter what."

However, Sandford has repeatedly denied rumours of a fling with Cole and her spokesperson told Heat: "They are not pals. They said hello when leaving the club and that was it."
