David Beckham has shown his romantic side by spending £20,000 on a night with Victoria.
The England skipper had his glamorous wife flown in specially from Japan before showering her with gifts.
The pair, whose son Romeo has recently had medical problems, then checked into a top London hotel for a romantic evening together.
A friend of the couple said: "David went all out to impress his wife. He is an incurable romantic and when he wants to lay on the charm he doesn't do it by halves."
"He and Victoria have had a fraught few weeks waiting to find out more about Romeo's convulsions,??? the friend continued. “He thought she deserved to be spoilt rotten and shown how loved she is."
