Sharon Stone has dropped a lawsuit against plastic surgeon Dr Renato Calabria, who, according to zap2it.com, "made claims that she had a facelift."
However, the actress dropped the suit on the condition that Calabria performs reconstructive surgery on underprivileged children who have facial deformities. Calabria's lawyer, Kevin Leichter, says that in his opinion, both Stone and his client acted honourably and "managed to turn a lawsuit into a benefit to the community."
The defamation and libel suit was filed in December of last year in response to an article in US Weekly and In Touch saying that he had operated on the Basic Instinct star.
Stone has said that the claims "damaged her professional reputation and her ability to obtain work in the film industry."
She last performed in Catwoman, and is to star in the upcoming sequel to Basic Instinct and in Alpha Dog.
