Ice-T 'cleared in NYC arrest'

Ice-T has been cleared on a charge of driving without valid insurance in New York City.

The rapper was pulled over in July for driving without wearing a seat belt and arrested when police computers could not locate any valid insurance for the star, according to TMZ.

The case was dismissed on Tuesday when Ice-T provided proof that he had valid insurance and showed that the DMV did not document his insurance correctly back in 2008.

After the court vindication, Ice-T told reporters that he and wife Coco-T had very special plans to celebrate the court's verdict.

The star exclaimed: "We're going to Disneyland!"
