TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey has celebrated the 20th anniversary of the widely syndicated Oprah Winfrey Show by talking about some of her best and worst moments.
In 1988, Winfrey proudly wheeled a wagon full of fat onto the set of her show to represent her stunning 67-pound weight loss but now acknowledges that doing so was her "biggest, fattest" error.
The star, who had lost the weight through a liquid protein diet, explained at the time: "I had literally starved myself for four months - not a morsel of food - to get into that pair of size 10 Calvin Klein jeans." Only a year after the show went out, Winfrey said that she had regained almost a third of the pounds she had dropped, with her weight fluctuating regularly since then.
The admission came as Winfrey released a DVD set of her biggest moments and interviews from the last 20 years. The net profits from the six-disc set are to go to "Oprah's Angel Network", which helps to educate and advance women and children around fhe world.
