Angelina Jolie: 'I'm not a sweet mother'

Angelina Jolie has reportedly admitted that she is not as "sweet" as she expected she would be with her children.

The actress revealed to OK that she is more strict as a mum than she anticipated.

She explained: "I am not as sweet as sugar as I thought I'd be as a mum."

The 35-year-old also said that she sees herself as a friend to her children before being their parent.

Jolie added: "I can be strict but not gratuitous. Our kids need to understand the sense behind it. First of all I see myself as their friend."
