The 59-year-old comedian, who has starred in films such as Good Will Hunting and Mrs Doubtfire, will bring his Weapons of Self Destruction stand-up set to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in November.
Earlier this year, Williams caused controversy by calling Australians "English rednecks", which resulted in prime minister Kevin Rudd enraging Americans by telling Williams to "spend a bit of time in Alabama".
Williams told the Herald Sun of the incident: "That was pretty bizarre. I was like: 'Wow! I've started an international incident! I don't want to cause a war between Alabama and Australia - please no!'"
He also said that Australia was "an amazing country" and that it was the "best place to go" as the "last frontier" for his tour.
