Gary Glitter has been arrested by Vietnamese police on child sex charges.

Last week it was alleged that the disgraced star had been abusing kids at his coastal home in the country. Police there launched an investigation but Glitter had already fled.

An immigration officer spotted the 61 year old at Ho Chi Minh City airport, intending to fly to Thai capital Bangkok.

Speaking to the News of the World a week ago, Glitter admitted: "If people find out I'm here I will move on again to another country. I'll just keep moving until no one can find me any more."
