Pitt 'rethinks death penalty over spill'

The star was interviewed for director Spike Lee's new documentary on the environmental disaster and said that the irresponsibility shown by oil executives had forced him to re-examine his feelings about capital punishment, according to OK.
"I was never for the death penalty before," said Pitt. "I am willing to look at it again."
The actor has spent considerable time in the Gulf Coast in recent years, building houses for people who lost their homes in Hurricane Katrina.
Lee's new documentary If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise will premiere on Monday on HBO.
