Arctic Monkeys plagued by ex-girlfriends

The Arctic Monkeys boys have complained that ex-girlfriends have began to crawl out of the woodwork following their rise to fame.
The four-piece indie rock band went straight to number one with their debut single, I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor.
Frontman Alex Turner has been plagued with calls from an old flame, guitarist Jamie Cook revealed.
"There was one that Alex used to go out with. One of his friends told her he was in a band now and that we had just got signed," he explained. "Then she says, 'Oh, can I have his number?' and then started calling loads."
Cook added, "Another one called on the day we went to No.1. She went to school with me and Alex. We all lost contact completely after school, and then she pretended she didn't recognise us in the queue for a club a year later. That influenced a song we've got now.
"But when we had a hit, she got Alex's number from someone a few weeks ago. So she phones one day and says congratulations and 'text me your number, we'll have to get together and go out sometime.' Yeah right love, I'm never even going to text you."
