The concert in Southampton, New York was cut short following complaints that the star was playing loud and "inappropriate" music.
One guest told the New York Post that the police were called because he felt that Ronson's "techno" music didn't fit with the Brazilian-themed night.
Neil Wolfson said: "The crowd was primed for this mellow music and she came on and started playing techno, inappropriate for the crowd."
However, an organiser for the event brushed off these reports, explaining that the police allowed the gig to continue.
