Sandilands 'not ready for relationship'

Kyle Sandilands has revealed that he wants Tamara Jaber to be "happy".

The Australian radio personality, who announced his split from Dancing With The Stars contestant Jaber last month after nearly two years of marriage, said that he is not ready for another relationship yet.

Sandilands told The Daily Telegraph: "I want her to be happy and she wants me to be happy and there's no telling what's going to happen in the future. By no means have we slammed the door in each other's face. We just had to put out a statement so that everyone would leave us alone.

"Getting married was the right thing. We'd been together for nine years, engaged for five, married for two years. I still speak to her every day... there weren't any big blow-ups. She's not a big arguer and I'm not a big arguer. It was one of those sad things that just dribbled off.

"I couldn't think of anything worse than being on the dating scene. I haven't got the physique for it. I'd be pulling from the back of the club where all the lonely girls are.

"I'm not even in that mind space. There have been reports in the papers that I've been rolling into taxis with models. I just have to laugh at it. One of the magazines said I was going around with Sophie Monk. When they see her coming in and out of my house then it's, 'I must be tapping her.'"
