Tiger Woods 'wishes Nordegren the best'

Tiger Woods has insisted that he only wants "the best" for ex-wife Elin Nordegren.

The couple - who were married for six years - announced that they have officially divorced this week.

"I wish her the best in everything," he said at a press conference at The Barclays golf tournament in New Jersey on Wednesday, according to People.

"It's a sad time in our lives. And we're looking forward to how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that's the most important thing."

Nordegren recently spoke out on her relationship with Woods for the first time since their split.
