Gary Busey 'helps rescue crash victim'

Gary Busey reportedly helped rescue an injured man after two cars collided in Malibu earlier this week.

Busey witnessed the accident on LA's Pacific Coast Highway on Tuesday afternoon and immediately phoned the police.

As soon as he finished speaking to the authorities, the actor hurried to the scene of the collision and came to the aid of a man who was hurt in the crash.

The Oscar-winning star apparently helped slow traffic and stayed on the scene until paramedics arrived.

The injured man's mother told TMZ that Busey was "very sweet and caring" and added that aside from some minor back pain her son was now feeling better.

The actor's representatives have not commented on the incident.
