It had been suggested that the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star was penning a memoir that would focus on his skills as a parent to 9-year-old twins Cara and Mady and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah.
However, writing on his Twitter account, he said: "Just to clear the air, I am not writing a parenting book. I am not at liberty to discuss what my book is about yet."
It was previously rumoured that Gosselin's project will be called A Slice Of Live: Jon Gosselin's Story, although his representative played down the speculation last month and insisted that nothing has been finalised yet.
The reality star's ex-wife Kate has released three books, most recently 'I Just Want You To Know: Letters To My Kids On Love, Faith And Family' in April.
