Cannon, Carey 'would love to expand family'

Nick Cannon has again remained coy on rumours that wife Mariah Carey is pregnant, although admitted the couple would "love to expand" their family.

It was recently suggested that the 'Hero' singer is four months gone but that the pair would prefer to keep the news private for now.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Cannon would only say: "When [Mariah is] ready to say whatever she wants to say, she'll say it... She's like, appreciating all the love that's coming out from everywhere, but it's just like when she's ready to talk she'll talk."

However, the America's Got Talent host added: "Right now, her and I are family, but of course we would love to expand."

Cannon previously suggested that the pair would "strategically plan out" any future announcement in a bid to play down "media hoopla", adding: "That's something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you're 100% sure, in any situation."

Carey has yet to comment on the rumours.
