The White Stripes' Jack White has confirmed that he and his wife, supermodel Karen Elson, are expecting their first child next spring.
The pair met when Elson was brought in for the video for The White Stripes' single 'Blue Orchid'. They were married within 5 weeks on the 1st of June in a ceremony in Manaus, Brazil, and rumours have been circulating about the super-model's pregnancy since October.
Elson's representative waited until yesterday to officially release the news, saying that the couple were "deliriously happy".
