Lopez, Antony 'join LA country club'

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony have reportedly applied to join a California country club.

According to In Touch, the couple recently interviewed at the Sherwood Country Club after moving into their new home in Hidden Hills.

"J. Lo showed up looking like Jackie O and Marc was wearing some ridiculous preppy style outfit - it was like they looked up what people wear to country clubs and then tried to imitate it," a source said.

"She did all the talking - Marc barely said anything. It seemed clear that he didn't want to mess up, like it was really important to her."

The insider added that Lopez is also considering running for a position on the local homeowners' association board.

"Jennifer already wants to make some improvements to the neighbourhood, so she's getting involved in the association. She's attending meetings and wants to run for office during the next election."
