The popstar's two eldest children, 12-year-old Paris and 13-year-old Prince, attended opening day of the autumn semester on Wednesday at The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley.
Jackson's children have been home-schooled all their lives, but TMZ reports that Prince petitioned grandmother Katherine to attend the exclusive institution so he could have "a social experience".
Paris allegedly refused to attend the school at first, but eventually was won over by her brother "in a big way".
Their 8-year-old brother Blanket will continue to be home-schooled until Katherine feels he is ready to "venture out".
Among the alumni from The Buckley School are Laura Dern, Nicole Richie, and Paris Hilton.
