Diaz to star in 'Sound of Music'?
Julie Andrews who played Maria Von Trapp in the original film version of the musical The Sound of Music has recently said that she would love to see Cameron Diaz in the role if it gets re-made.

Rumours have been circulating about a possible reality-TV style show to pick leading roles for a new version of the 60's film involving Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The 70-year-old star befriended Diaz during work for Shrek 2, where she plays Diaz's mother.
