The Young Money label mates declared on Twitter that they are a couple and are "proud" to be in a romantic relationship together.
The Thank Me Later star wrote: "Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and don’t stare at her too long. She's finally mine."
Meanwhile, Minaj wrote: "Yes, it's true. Drake and I tied the knot."
Earlier this year, Drake defended Minaj during her public feud with Lil Kim and has previously admitted that the 25-year-old was the 'love of his life'.
Drake and Minaj are scheduled to appear at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards next month.
Update: Representatives for the couple have said that they have not actually gotten married, leading to suggest that the announcement was a publicity stunt.
