Kylie to publish diary for charity?

Kylie Minogue has written a secret diary throughout her battle against breast cancer, which she hopes will bring inspiration to other cancer sufferers, The People claims today.

The Australian singer apparently hopes to publish the book next year and donate the proceeds to charity.

"Kylie knows she is in a position of influence and wants to use that positively by writing this diary," a source explained. "She believes that by sharing her experiences she can provide encouragement to those in a similar situation.

"She wants to get the message over that cancer can strike anybody, no matter how rich or famous. It will be a poignant and powerful read."
