McCartney wanted Beatles reunion

Paul McCartney planned a reunion of the Beatles a year before John Lennon died, it has been revealed.
A secret deal he made with record company CBS has been made public as part of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Lennon's death. It was worth six million pounds and said he would record with Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
An industry insider said: “This is the earliest evidence of any Beatle making formal overtures toward a reunion.???
