Williams recruits celebs for charity football

Published Tuesday, Dec 6 2005, 17:55 GMT | By Dave West
Robbie Williams is lining up his celebrity pals for a charity football team he is organising.

Among the stars he has asked to join the side are Jude Law, Orlando Bloom, Corrie's Bradley Walsh, ex-Arsenal player Ian Wright and Jamie Theakston. He also wants Terry Venables to manage the side.

The Sun reports that he has asked ITV to film his team's training sessions at his Hollywood mansion.

“Robbie is lining up his A-list pals to be filmed for a week-long reality show," an insider told the paper. "[He] doesn’t drink, but he’s happy to host some parties as they relax after training sessions.???

The side will play another all-star team in a match at Old Trafford on May 27 for Unicef.
