Dying bird ends Madonna's "bloodlust"

Madonna has revealed how seeing a bird she shot die in front of her has put her off shooting.
The pop star, who lives on a country estate in Dorset, said at first she loved getting into rural sports. Recently, however, she has been put off by a nasty experience with a dying bird.
"I was mad for shooting a couple of years ago. I loved my bespoke outfits and everything," she told Tatler magazine.
"Then a bird dropped in front of me that I'd shot. It wasn't dead. It was really suffering. Blood was gushing out of its mouth. I haven't shot since. I realised that I had a kind of bloodlust and was manically shooting as many birds as possible."
