Wife of Van Halen star files for divorce

Eddie Van Halen is set to become single after his wife filed for divorce.
Valerie Bertinelli has cited "irreconcilable differences" as her reason for wanting to end the marriage, according to BBC News Online.
The couple met at a Van Halen concert in 1980 and have been married for 24 years. Bertinelli wants to share custody of their only child, 14-year-old Wolfgang.
Eddie founded Van Halen with his brother Alex. They enjoyed great success in the 1970s and 80s.
