The socialite has been in the headlines this week after a car she was travelling in was stopped by authorities in Las Vegas on Friday and she was later arrested for alleged possesion of cocaine.
Writing on her Twitter account, she appeared to criticise recent stories about her personal life although she declined to specify what exact speculation she was referring to.
"These rumours going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel. I'm not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth," she wrote.
The former Simple Life star also posted a message of thanks to her fans, writing: "Love you all xoxo Paris."
Her attorney previously issued a statement on her arrest, saying: "This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgement until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law."
Hilton is believed to have told the police that the drugs did not belong to her and that the purse they were found in had been borrowed from a friend.
