Ruby Rose launches fashion line on tram

Ruby Rose has launched her debut fashion line.

The Australian model and television personality turned one of Melbourne's famous trams into a mobile fashion show where she showed passengers items from her Milk and Honey collection and pointed out local landmarks.

Rose told AAP: "One thing I really missed about Melbourne when I was in Sydney is trams. They're so convenient, they look amazing, and I just think that they scream Melbourne - so why not have a fashion show on a tram?"

Talking about the range, she said: "It's very much the clothing I would wear. Hopefully people want to wear it to music festivals, or go and see bands, that sort of thing. It's a surreal experience to know that you're creating something than somebody then goes and wears outside and makes them feel a certain way when they wear it.

"I missed that aspect of my life when I went into television because even though I was creative it was all about you... whereas art is so much about giving back to other people and expressing feelings and emotions."
