Fishburne told Reuters that her father Laurence is still not supportive of her lifestyle choices, but her mother Hajna O. Moss just wants her to be "happy".
"I did talk to my father. He told me he was embarrassed by me," she said. "My mum just says, 'I love you'… She wants me to be happy and doesn't want me to get dragged into the dark side of porn."
The actress noted that her father's continued refusal to accept her decisions will prevent them from having a relationship in the future.
She explained: "Until he respects me and accepts me for who I am, I don't think we will have much of a relationship."
