Lindsay Lohan 'hires Spears manager'

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly hired Britney Spears's manager Larry Rudolph in an attempt to re-establish her career.

The New York Post reports that Rudolph has put the Machete actress on "lockdown" in order to resolve her career issues and relaunch her image, despite having previously denied working with the 24-year-old.

A source told the newspaper: "She's telling everyone she is more than ready for work and people should hire her now. She's on lockdown."

Lohan has spoken of her desire to return to acting in an interview with Vanity Fair, saying: "I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a damn good actress... And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible - but that's what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes."
