Infamous celebrity prankster George Clooney appeared on the Jay Leno show in full surgical mask and gloves after finding out that Leno was fighting a cold.
The star joked about the items, saying that he felt at home in them: "This is really comfortable - it reminds me of my doctor days. I played a doctor on TV - you might not remember." He did remove them eventually, but stayed well away from his host, warning him "You stay there and I'll stay over here".
George Clooney is one of the most notorious Hollywood pranksters. Only a couple of months ago, him and close friend Brad Pitt were planning a joke for the paparazzi. Inspired by rumours that Pitt was set to marry Angelina Jolie the pair had plans to 'leak' rumours that the wedding was set to take place at Clooney's villa on the banks of Lake Como.
Clooney revealed: "There was a story going around that Brad was going to get married at my house in Italy and it was sort of catching on.
"So I called Brad up and I said we should sort of let it leak out and then hire a bunch of kids dressed up to pretend to be getting married on that day and let everybody rent helicopters and spend a fortune."
