Sadie Frost: 'Law is the love of my life'

Sadie Frost has praised the parenting skills of ex-husband Jude Law and commented that he will always be "the love of [her] life".

The 45-year-old actress revealed that she hopes her three children with Law - Rafferty, 13, Iris, 9 and Rudy, 7 - will read her autobiography Crazy Days and realise how "important" the couple's six-year marriage was to her.

"It reminds me how important he was, is, to me," she told Bang Showbiz. "He was the love of my life, and he's been the most important relationship of my life. He was a wonderful partner and he's a great dad."

However, Frost added that she and Law, from whom she separated in 2003, do not always see eye to eye.

"We get on pretty much most of the time. Sometimes there's a disagreement or we annoy each other but we resolve it quickly and move on."

Despite her fond memories of their marriage, Frost also maintained that she was happy remaining single.

"I think it was important to learn to survive on my own," she said. "I'd always relied on other people. In a way I had to grow up, not rely on anyone else, not play the victim and be responsible for my own life. Once I did that, things started to fall into place."

Frost previously claimed that her love for Law, which caused the breakdown of her first marriage to Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp, made her "feel out of control".
