Jennifer Lopez: 'Mothers never relax'

Jennifer Lopez has claimed that mothers never have time to take care of themselves because children must always be their first priority.

The actress and singer, who became a parent to twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony two years ago, admitted that it is difficult to take a breather and relax as a mother.

According to Contactmusic, the 41-year-old said: "I don't really believe mothers have time for themselves. It's always on your mind, even when you are trying to relax and get away - it's just one of the absolute facts of being a mother."

Lopez also insisted that working on a new movie or a album allows her time to solely focus on herself and her career for a change.

She added: "That's when I have time to concentrate on what I'm doing, but as far as leisure time, mothers don't get that - it's just part of the deal."

Last month, Lopez revealed that she is worried about her daughter's teenage years.
