LeAnn Rimes 'enjoys growing older'

LeAnn Rimes has claimed that she is looking forward to growing older.

The 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' singer opted to celebrate her recent 28th birthday in a relatively tame fashion, telling People that a break to Mexico with boyfriend Eddie Cibrian was all she had needed.

"I'm actually one of those strange people that actually enjoys getting older," she claimed. "My age was made such a big deal out of when I was little, so I always wanted to get older. I'm still kind of in that frame of mind. Maybe when I hit 30 that will change."

The country music star added that she was in need of the relaxing getaway now that Cibrian's two children from his previous marriage to model Brandi Glanville - Mason, 7 and Jake, 3 - share her home.

"It's quite chaotic. I went from being by myself to having two kids in the house. It's really amazing. They're really incredible."

The couple have recently been plagued by rumours that Cibrian slept with Glanville during his relationship with Rimes.
