MTV reports that during his set at Hot 97's 'On The Reggae Tip' event in New York City on Friday, the rapper suggested that he and Penn did not meet in the wake of Haiti's earthquake because the actor was taking drugs.
"I got a message for Sean Penn: Maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine," Jean stated.
The 'Gone Till November' singer further responded to his former Fugees bandmate Pras, who also publicly criticised the musician's bid for public office.
"I got a message for Praswell, even though you don't want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked eight bars in the Fugees."
It was previously reported that Haiti's electoral commission ruled that Jean is ineligible to campaign for the country's highest office.
