Taylor "working through" Newton issues

Rachael Taylor is "working through" her issues, according to her friends.

The Transformers actress, who was allegedly attacked by boyfriend Matthew Newton during a visit to Rome three weeks ago, has reportedly returned to LA for some film auditions to take her mind off recent events.

A friend of Taylor told The Daily Telegraph: "She's getting there. She's tough but now it's the psychological stuff that she is working through. She wants to keep working and be as normal as possible."

The Australian star was spotted shopping with Dollhouse actress Dichen Lachman over the weekend.
