Justin Bieber has reportedly advised female fans to talk to him rather than "yelling" when they see him.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, the 16-year-old suggested that "no girls are nervous" and therefore fans should not be afraid to start a conversation when they approach him for a photograph.

"Just talk to me. Ask me how I'm doing. Introduce yourself instead of yelling, 'Justin! Justin! Justin! Can I have a picture?'" he said.

"And don't come up to me while I'm eating. How would you like it if I came into your house and started taking pictures of you while you were eating? I hate that."

The 'Baby' star also admitted that he sometimes finds it hard to "get away" from himself because of the extent of his popularity.

"It's still amazing to see people wearing my shirts, but I feel like I can't get away from myself," he explained. "Like, I go to Walmart and I just want to go get some boxers and socks, but there are posters of me everywhere. Or my song comes on the radio, and it's like, 'Aah!'."

Bieber recently performed a star-studded concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, which saw him joined by celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Usher and Boyz II Men.
