The model told Reuters that she is planning to sell 14 paintings that were purchased during her romance with Mick Jagger because she wants to put their relationship behind her once and for all.
"I think it's about letting go of the past," Hall said.
She continued: "At a certain age you just want to get rid of things. It's good to be in the moment and change. I'm not afraid of change."
The collection includes paintings by acclaimed artists Andy Warhol, Frank Auerbach and Robert Graham.
The auction will take place in October at Sotheby's and is expected to take in $2.3m (£1.5m).
